Target Audience

Rare Disease Day was started by patient organizations and is patient

led. Therefore, the primary drivers and beneficiaries of the campaign are people living with a rare disease.

Health professionals and caregivers

 

Researchers, clinicians and academics

 

Pharmaceutical and biotech industry

 

We encourage everyone who has an interest in rare diseases

to join the campaign as long as they respect the spirit of Rare Disease Day.

Sarcoidosis of Long Island, Global Genes,EveryLife Foundation, and other organizations to be named later are hosting an event for rare disease awareness in Stony Brook University Hospital on

October 15,2016.
